Motherly Ride distributes baby gear (strollers, infant and toddler car seats, high chairs) to disadvantaged mothers.
How it Works
Southern California Chapter: New car seats and new and or gently-used baby gear, such as strollers, bouncer seats, and high chairs, will be acquired via donations from local families in Orange County and South Los Angeles County and corporate donations. These items will be sorted and distributed back into our local and surrounding communities to mothers in need. Mothers in need may include single mothers, pregnant teenagers choosing to raise their babies, or financially disadvantaged intact families.
How to Donate
Motherly Ride accepts new items from our corporate sponsors at any time. Motherly Ride Donation Drives take place in our chapter’s local community and are scheduled quarterly. Please see our calendar for dates. If you would like to donate properly functioning and clean, gently used or NEW baby or children's gear outside of these dates, please contact us via email: info@motherlylove.org.
For safety reasons, we cannot accept used car seats. Donated items must be in good condition, and functional/working order and wiped clean. Please donate your accompanying instruction manual if you have it, or instructions printed out if a PDF is available on the Internet.
Please check that items were not recalled before you donate them to Motherly Love, on the Consumer Production Safety Commission Website (www.cpsc.gov).
